ANGELINA AWARD

Since 1978, the Angelina Award has been given to a special individual who has displayed a lifetime of distinguished community service.

This award is typically presented at the Chamber's Annual Banquet & Meeting and sponsored by Southside Bank. The past recipients read like a who’s who of Angelina County.

The winner of this award will have exhibited the following characteristics that were exemplified by Butch McMullen:

  • A leader and role model in profession, church, and/or community
  • A strong positive influence and source of encouragement to others to be actively involved in the community and make a positive difference.
  • An avid planner with a heart and vision for the future of Angelina County

The recipient of this award is typically announced at the October First Friday Luncheon. Nomination forms can be found at the Chamber offices or online HERE.

Completed nomination forms must be submitted by the first Friday in September.
